CITIES OF TJK

There are 18 cities in Tajikistan. One of them, the country's capital Dushanbe city, has the status of a separate administrative-territorial unit of the first order, three cities have the status of a city of republican subordination, 7 cities have the status of a city of regional subordination, and 6 are the cities of regional subordination. Most of the cities are located in the northern part of the country on the Sogd region.
